Triple APOD - August 12, 2024: ISS Transit Over All-Star HQ by Gabe Sewell

As you may have seen previously on our Facebook feed, we captured a transit of the International Space Station across the disc of the sun last Friday! You can use websites like transit-finder.com to put in your coordinates and see what upcoming ISS transits will be visible for you.

This image was taken with our double stacked Lunt 80mm solar scope, and a Nikon D850 DSLR. If you come by on a sunny day, we may even have it set up for you to take a look through yourself!
