The reality is that we’re a small, family run business. What we really want to be is the best place for astronomers and astrophotographers to find help getting the right equipment.
We’ve enjoyed the hobby for a while and when Ken and Bev, the original founders, decided they were ready to retire we were delighted to help them. We drew a 10-minute radius around our kids’ school, found a suitable space, and moved the business a little closer to home.
We’re having a lot of fun getting to know you and finding new ways to help people enjoy astronomy and astrophotography. As a bonus, we have an 11-year-old daughter that wants to be an astronomer when she grows up, so this is a way to be cool [relevant] for a little longer.
We plan on being around for a while and will be at star-parties and hosting events of our own. Please join our mailing list and follow us on Facebook if you’d like to be in the know. We look forward to meeting more of you and helping to get people outside and under the stars.
