Triple APOD - August 29, 2024: Cygnus Wall by Michele Rainville
Newtonian telescopes are sometimes referred to as "light buckets", and for good reason. Newts are the most cost-effective way of getting a lot of aperture for your visual or photographic needs, and they're quite lightweight for their size too. Here, Michele uses a Sky-Watcher Quattro 150p (a Newtonian scope optimized for imaging), an Antlia ALP-T 5nm dual-band narrowband filter, and nine hours of total exposure time to help combat light pollution and reveal the many details of this ever-popular region of nebulosity in the Cygnus constellation!
