All of the beginner rock tumblers we carry are high quality. There are a few key features that we think are important in any rock tumbler:
Rubber barrel - This makes a huge difference in the amount of noise a tumbler makes. Trust us, you don't want a plastic barrel. They sound like cement mixers!
Slow speed - Some hobby tumblers spin too fast to get good results. It might sound funny, but you can bruise or chip rocks by turning them too quickly.
Replacement parts - If you're going to stick with the hobby for a while then something on your tumbler may wear out. We like fixing more than replacing.
We've made sure that all of these beginner tumblers meet those basic requirements.
