Best Spotting Scopes for Travel

These pocket sized scopes pack big views into a small package. These are premium portable optics designed to slip into a backpack or a cary on bag.

Any spotting scope will give you more reach than a pair or binoculars, these can bring you in closer to waterfowl or raptors that are hard to see up close.

They're also incredibly pleasing for nature viewing and basic stargazing. Turn one of these on the moon and you'll see incredible detail in the craters and seas.

With spotting scopes this size you compromise on overall brightness in low-light conditions, but at this weight and size you're much more likely to bring it along. Remember, the best spotting scope is the one you have with you!
