Best Spotting Scopes Under $1000

The best spotting scope is the one you have with you. These are some great options for getting and impressive view at a modest price. These spotting scopes all meet our basic requirement of being waterproof, durable, and multicoated.

This means they'll give years of immersive, high quality views. These are all excellent options if you're trying to get a little closer to a distant target and your binoculars aren't quite cutting it.

Our general preference is for 80mm scopes, these offer the best balance if low light performance and portability. Smaller scopes are lighter and easier to bring with you, but may compromise performance in low light conditions. Bigger scopes offer bright views, but are a little heavier.

Whatever your needs, there are some great options to choose between here.
