A little disappointed...

Was a gift from my bf for xmas, as I got a tumbler the previous year and have been looking for decently priced/quality rough stones to tumble. Hesitated initially as the shipping + taxes together was a lot to add to the subtotal, but eventually bit the bullet to try it out (had to be convinced by my bf to finally do it because i didn't want him spending that much money). Order initially shipped in an okay-ish timeline, only to realize one of the packages of rough stones were missing (I ordered the grit pkg w/all levels + 5 different rough stone types to tumble). Immediately emailed cx service and they did send the one that was missed - unfortunately it just took so much longer to come. Granted could have been courier related, but it was past the ETA + way past the initial order/arrival, so just an overall disappointment seeing as it was such an expensive shipping fee to begin with (to the point I waited a few days to really decide if it was worth the purchase). Anyone who tumbles knows it's a long process, so having it so delayed through no fault of my own just sucked. And all that was really said by the company via email was a sorry for the oversight and an upsell suggestion for ceramic pellets. Stones seem okay, but can't speak to the quality as the batches are no where near done - hopefully they're decent, at which point I will maybe consider re-ordering... but for now not really convinced.
