Nice Selection

A good variety of rocks, although with this mix coming with Starter Kit make sure to separate them as it is mixed hardnesses. With harder stones like crazy lace, and softer ones like obsidian.

Overall I was pleasantly surprised, as this was my first time ordering from this company so didn’t know what to expect.

Looks great!

Lots of variety in colours, shapes and sizes. I just have them in stage one so I can't tell you how they turned out yet, but compared to some other tumbling rough I have purchased from other suppliers, this batch looks excellent.

Disappointed with lack of variety

I’m really new to rock tumbling and perhaps was a bit naive in that I expected this product to contain a variety of materials similar to what is depicted in the photo. The package I received was about 50% dalmatian stones and no amethyst or the other coloured stones shown. I’m sure the tumbling process will yield some interesting final products and so I’m still going to use it - but that’s probably the one and only time I’ll gamble on a grab-bag “mix”, I think.

Great value

I haven't had a chance to tumble these yet but I was very impressed with the size of the rocks and the quantity of rocks you get, it is a great value and I will be ordering more in the future

Brazilian, Mexican and rough Amethyst

Rocks came promptly out of western Canada. Trying the Amethyst now and it’s tumbling up nicely. Lots of nice pieces out of the other bags. What I think are aventurine, blue sodalite, jasper. Good looking quartz crystals. All fine specimen didn’t see any shards at the bottom of the bags.
