Product Description
The flattener: One end of the thread is M68 × 1, connected to the focuser; the other end of the thread is M48 × 0.75 and has a built-in 2" filter thread. The back focus is 55mm. If it needs to be extended, the adapter can be screwed down to reveal the M54 × 0.75 male thread, and the back focus becomes 81.5mm. The flattener adopts a triplet air-spaced structure, the peripheral light reduction control is excellent, can effectively improve the curvature of the field, improve the corner image quality, and reduce aberrations, so that users can take clearer astronomical photos.

I purchased the 61EDPH as a guide scope for my larger app. I am pleased with the image quality and the fit and finish for such an economical little Apo!
So far, it appears to be free of color, fringing in bright back lit situations, and I am hoping that it proves the same under the stars. The focuser is quite smooth, it comes with a camera, rotator, the specs for the field flattener and threat sizes make it relatively trouble free to adapt to various cameras. It might just be the perfect travel scope when paired with a strain wave mount.
In really like the telescope, the specs are quite sharp. The only downside, is how they have the bracket fastened together. The **** gets in the way of anything attached to the vixen bracket.
Very happy with it. Much better than my StarTraveler 102. Can’t wait to do some imaging with it.
Works well with the scope. Wouldn't shoot without it.
