The 52mm SD guide scope is light, compact, and stable. The aperture is 52mm, the focal length is 249mm, and the focal length is F/4.8. The focuser travel length is 25mm, and the weight is only 740g.
The aperture area of the 52mm SD guide scope is 164% larger than that of the 32mm guide scope, with the increase of light into, the limiting magnitude can reach 10.4.
The 52mm SD guide scope has a doublet objective lens design, including 1 piece of SD glass, providing more accurate guiding.
In addition to guiding, the 52mm SD guide scope can also be used for visual observation and astrophotography.
The 52mm SD guide scope comes with a 1.25” adapter, an M42 threaded adapter, and two 40mm extension tubes. The extension tubes and adapter are removable to accommodate different usage needs.
When using the 52mm SD guide scope with cameras, the CMOS position relative to the focal plane varies depending on the type of camera attached. For precise guiding with a guiding camera, the rear 1.25” adapter can be attached directly. For planetary cameras or DSO cameras, the M42 threaded adapter can be used for attachment.
For visual observation, it can remove the extension tube and attach the 1.25” adapter to use the corresponding size diagonal and eyepiece.
The 52mm SD guide scope is designed with an XY-axis adjustable design, which allows to adjust the guide scope to be coaxial with the telescope, further enhancing the accuracy of the guiding.
To fully consider the user's feelings, the integrated Helical focusing design is adopted for smooth use, and the travel length is 25mm. Users can directly turn the focuser manually to adjust.
The 52mm SD guide scope base is suitable for universal finder slots and also has a 1/4 threaded hole and an M4 threaded hole on the base for easy attachment.
The 52mm SD guide scope is delicate and is crafted using high-quality CNC machining, with anodized treatment. Here are black and silver versions to choose from. The black one with a calm tone and the silver one looks more technical. The advanced manufacturing process gives them a textured feel, providing consumers with more options.
